Walkthrough

    Upon entering Guadosalam, Tromell Guado will greet you and inform you that Seymour awaits Yuna at his manor.

    Rikku will unlock the ability to customize equipment, allowing you to add auto-abilities to weapons and armor using items, provided there is an empty slot. It is recommended to save items for later as there are limited customization options available now.

    The first doorway nearby leads to the inn, which contains a Save Sphere and Maechen, who can provide information about the Farplane and pyreflies.

    Exit the inn and proceed to the manor's entrance. To the right of the entrance, open a chest for a Mega-Potion.

    Follow the western wall and enter the first building. Inside, you will find Al Bhed Primer Vol. XIII on the ground and a chest in the back containing 3,000 Gil.

    Exit this building and continue south along the western wall. Squeeze past two NPCs speaking by a lamp to find another chest containing an Elixir.

    Go up the ramp to find the entrance to the Farplane. Underneath the ramp is a shop where O'aka may offer cheaper goods if you have donated the full amount needed. Consider purchasing Yellow armor for the upcoming Thunder Plains.

    Head inside Seymour's manor. Climb the stairs and search in the middle to find a chest with two Hi-Potions.

    On the left set of stairs, speak with Wakka. On the right side, speak with Lulu to trigger a scene.

    Speak with other characters downstairs, then approach the double doors for another scene.

    Speak with everyone inside to trigger a final scene.

    Exit the manor and meet the rest of your party. Head towards the Farplane entrance.

    As you enter the next screen leading to the Farplane, look to the left for a hidden chest containing 8 Lightning Marbles.

    Enter the Farplane. Speak to Lulu, then Wakka and Lulu again. Approach Yuna to advance the story.

    After returning to Guadosalam, go back to the area in front of Seymour's manor to meet with the party. They will split up while waiting for Yuna. You can speak with them; speaking with Lulu twice may affect a later scene. Kimahri will appear as you attempt to enter the shop.

    Tidus' Brotherhood weapon will receive Strength +10%, Sensor, and Waterstrike buffs after the Farplane scenes, in addition to its initial Strength +5%.

    To get to the Macalania Temple, you must pass through the Thunder Plains. Before leaving Guadosalam, return to the Farplane. In the Farplane area, a chest on the left side contains the Venus Crest, which powers up Lulu's Celestial Weapon.

    The decline where you met Shelinda just before is the exit to the Thunder Plains.
