Phases:

1. Phase 1: Shell and Tentacles
   • The main body is protected by a shell, which is strong against physical attacks.
   • Two Tentacles guard the main body, intercepting magic. They must be defeated first.
   • Tentacles have 450 HP, take half damage from Thunder and Ice, and absorb Water.
   • Tentacles only perform physical attacks.
   • While the shell is up, the main body uses Sigh every two turns, dealing ~125 damage to the party.
2. Phase 2: Exposed Body
   • Once the Tentacles are defeated, focus on the main body.
   • Use Fire magic on the main body.
   • When the main body's HP drops below ~2,400, the shell opens, revealing the true body.
   • The exposed body is vulnerable to physical attacks.
   • The boss stops using Sigh and begins using other skills.

Strategy:

• Start by targeting the two Tentacles. They have 450 HP each and are the primary obstacle to damaging the main body.
• Once the Tentacles are defeated, switch your focus to the main body. If Lulu is not in your party, bring her in now.
• Use Fire magic on the main body to deal significant damage.
• When the shell opens, the main body becomes vulnerable to physical attacks. Switch to physical attackers like Tidus.
• The boss has several attacks:
  • Sigh: Used every two turns while the shell is up, ~125 damage to the party.
  • Venom: Targets the character with the highest HP, dealing ~110 damage and inflicting Poison.
  • Water: Targets the character with the lowest HP. Yuna's NulTide can block one casting.
  • Staccato: A physical attack hitting all characters for ~110 damage. Use Tidus's Cheer to reduce its damage.
• Keep your party's HP up with healing spells.
• With consistent healing and exploiting the correct weaknesses, this boss fight should be manageable.
