Walkthrough

    From the start, jump to the red panel when it's up, then to the blue panel when it's up, and onto the other side.

    Follow the path to the next panel. If the red panel is up, jump straight to the blue panel and then onto the wooden panel. If the blue panel is up, jump to the red panel first.

    Star Coin Alert! #1: Walk to the next red panel, then jump to the blue panel to your south-east. Grab the Star Coin there, then take a running jump to the red panel directly to your north. Jump to the blue panel to your north-west, then onto the wooden platform, watching out for the Spikebar as you land.

    Star Coin Alert! #2: Follow the path up to the platform with brick blocks. A flying ? Block moves left and right. When the flying ? Block is to the right of the rectangular shadow of the Star Coin, hit it to stop its movement. Jump onto the block, being careful not to double back into the Cosmic Clone. From there, jump left up into the Star Coin. Loop around to avoid the Cosmic Clone and move right to the large set of Flip-Switch Panels below.

    If the red panels are up, jump to the first blue panel, then hop to the red panel next to it. If they aren't up, take a running jump onto the first red panel.

    Walk north-west onto the connecting red panel. Jump to the blue panel to your north-west, timing it to jump over the Spikebar. Jump north-east to the red panel.

    Star Coin Alert! #3: Run to the connected red panel to your north-east. If you don't have time to jump over the Spikebar, jump to the nearby blue panel and then to this red panel. Jump to the blue panel to your north-east, which contains the Star Coin. Grab it, loop around to dodge the Cosmic Clone, and run and jump to the red panel directly west of the blue one, jumping over the Spikebar if needed. Jump north-west, then north-east, and onto the wooden platform, dodging the nearby Stingby and incorporating jumps over the Spikebar between panels.

    Jump past the Stingbies and hop up the steps. Dodge the third Stingby and continue to the end of the path. Make sure the blue panel is up, then jump onto the first red panel.

    If you fall to the platform below, ensure the red panel is up, then jump into the side of the block next to the first Flip-Switch Panel and wall jump off it onto the red panel. This counts as two jumps.

    From the red panel, jump right onto the blue panel. Jump right for two more panels.

    The next jump right must be onto the north panel, as it is red.

    From there, jump south one panel. Quickly loop around to face east again and jump right to the red panel.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
    Run right onto the rotating cog. Jump to let the fake Goombas move past as you move to the other side of the cog. Keep towards the centre of this and any other rotating object throughout the level. Some may be spinning too fast to simply run towards the centre, so you may need to jump towards the centre instead.

    Once you reach the end of the cog, jump off and collect the three coins.

    Move south along the next cog, watching out for the Flophopper moving up and down.

    Jump off and hit the middle ? Block for a Fire Flower. Do not hit the ? Blocks to either side, as they both contain Poison Mushrooms.

    Run right, shoot the Flophopper with a Fireball, and move onto the next cog.

    This cog also has a Flophopper moving left and right. Keep an eye on it as you move along, jumping to dodge it if needed.

    Jump to the next rotating cog, move north, and jump to the next one.

    Run north, in the opposite direction to the cog, while standing on the two 'rings' of coins to grab them as they rotate around to you. Don't worry about getting them all or you'll fall behind.

    Move to the right side of the cog and a Magikoopa will appear. Jump to the next cog and then straight onto the ship before the Magikoopa can fire a bolt.
