Part 8

From the starting platform, jump down to the ground. Defeat the Goomba and enter the Warp Pipe. Collect the +100 Time Green Clock and all coins, including those in the top-right brick block. Go through the next warp pipe.

After the rotating platform, defeat the Goomba and collect coins from the Large ? Blocks. Defeat the three-high Goomba Stack.

Crouch under the upcoming brick blocks, collect coins from the left one, and jump to hit them.

Face the four-high Goomba Stack. Wait for them to move to your elevated platform before jumping on them.

Continue to the Checkpoint Flag. Grab the coin on the right to reveal a coin trail.

In the next area, jump into the coins on the left wall to reveal invisible ? Blocks. Jump south of these blocks to find a Super Star.

Grab the Super Star and run to defeat enemies for 1-Ups. Killing 4 enemies grants a 1-Up. Note that Ball 'n' Chain enemies do not count. You can defeat Koopa Troopas, Goombas, and Inky Piranha Plants. Repeat this process near the Checkpoint Flag by intentionally dying after gaining lives.

After the Super Star wears off, backtrack to the two larger ? Blocks. The small ? Block between them contains a Fire Flower. The large ? Block on the right can be hit multiple times for coins.

Continue to find the first Star Coin (#2). It is above two yellow moving platforms. Hop on the southern platform, wait until you are underneath the Star Coin's shadow, and jump.

Before the Ball 'n' Chains, grab the Blue Clock for +10 time.

Cross the wooden bridge with 3 Ball 'n' Chains slowly, stopping between them. Move quickly to avoid ink from Inky Piranha Plants. If you have Fire Mario, shoot the unlit torch on the far right for a large coin square.

Find the second Star Coin (#3). Run to the back of the room and up the thin path with two Inky Piranha Plants. Defeat them and move left. The Star Coin is above the left Piranha Plant.

Secret Exit: Move to the Warp Pipe leading to the final area. Instead of entering, jump onto it and then up to the platform above it on the wall. Move north, then west, jump over the gap, and grab the 1-Up at the end. Retrace your steps to the main platform. Run right to a room with an orange Warp Pipe. Drop down and enter it to reach the beginning of World 2.

Alternatively for the Secret Exit: Jump onto the small ? Block past the checkpoint, then up to the hidden platform above the back wall. Collect the 1-Up and run right to bypass the rest of the level.

Enter the Warp Pipe at the end of the area (seen before grabbing the third Star Coin). Outside, jump onto the platforms. As they reach their peak, run forward and jump off the edge to reach the top of the Goal Pole.
