    Proceed past the bubbling geyser.

    Let the cylinder roll down the lava waterfall and jump to the platform below.

    Run clockwise around the platform until it moves to the top.

    Jump to grab the Blue Clock in the center, then jump onto the cylindrical platform to the north.

World 8-Final Castle

You start this level riding a vehicle. Collect all coins as the vehicle begins to roll down a steep incline. Dodge the numerous fireballs ahead.

Walkthrough

    From the vehicle's perspective, move to the front-right corner and stay there until the first four fireballs pass.

    Quickly run to the back-left corner of the vehicle until you pass the two fireballs at the corner of the track.

    Move to the middle of the back. Let the first row of three fireballs pass in front of you.

    Immediately run toward the front-center of the vehicle and jump just before you move past Star Coin #1, grabbing it and jumping out of the way of a fireball.

    Run to the very front-center of the vehicle.

    Move to the very center of the vehicle and wait until you reach the Firebar.

    Jump south-west over the Firebar, then west over the next bar.

    Jump onto the platform on your right and grab the coin.

    After a short pause, run off the platform as it gets shot into the air and onto the cracked blocks to your north.

    Run and jump along the cracked blocks until you reach the end, then jump onto the platform to your right.

    Wait for the next platform to drop down and jump onto it. Wait for it to move back up, move under the shadow of Star Coin #2 in the center, and jump to grab it.

    Make sure the platform to your right has dropped, then jump down to it.

    Jump off that platform onto the next vehicle.

    As the vehicle moves north over lava geysers, move to the far left or right corners to weave through the first wave of fireballs. Walk, do not run, when weaving.

    Stay at the far corners and weave through the next set of gaps in the fireballs, moving from the first gap toward the center, back out, and back toward the center again.

    At the last central fireball, jump over it to grab Star Coin #3 above it as the fireball passes beneath you. Focus on the shadow of the Star Coin to time your jump.
Tips
  • When dealing with Magikoopas, quickly stomp them before they can teleport. If they do teleport, dodge their bolts until you reach a Warp Box.
  • On the vehicle in World 8-Final Castle, the right and left sides are from Mario's perspective when facing the front.
  • When weaving through fireballs on the vehicle, walking is more effective than running to manage direction changes.
  • To time the jump for Star Coin #3 in World 8-Final Castle, find the shadow of the Star Coin and follow it until you are about to move past it, then jump.
