    Dodge hammers from two Hammer Bros. and stomp them. Run north and hit the P-Switch to ascend on a moving platform. Collect coins and wait for the platform to stop.

    Defeat the three Hammer Bros. on the main platform. Move to the platforms the northernmost Hammer Bro. was jumping between.

    Star Coin Alert! #2: The second Star Coin is on the left of the two platforms the Hammer Bro. was jumping between. Grab it, then move north onto the purple carpet.

    Collect coins on the north edge of the purple carpet. A platform will appear to your north. Jump onto it, then onto subsequent appearing platforms until one appears under a Warp Box. Jump into the Warp Box.

    You will warp to the final area where Dry Bowser appears. Jump onto the rotating stepping stone platforms in the lava, staying in the center. Reach the first Blue Clock.

    Wait for blue fireballs to pass, then continue on the rotating platforms until the next Blue Clock. Continue until you reach a stable platform with two Hammer Bros. Defeat them.

    Move north across cracked blocks to a platform with another Hammer Bro. Defeat him and move onto the same platform as Dry Bowser.

    Dodge Dry Bowser's fire rings by jumping over them when he lands. Move to the cracked block south of Dry Bowser's southeast corner. Jump northeast across cracked blocks past Dry Bowser to the next platform.

    As you reach the platform, Dry Bowser lands on the platform to your north. Jump over his fire ring and stomp the Hammer Bro. here. Run up the right side of cracked blocks, then jump east to another cracked block and onto a wooden bridge.

    Star Coin Alert! #3: Instead of continuing right, move back off the wooden bridge onto the stone platform Dry Bowser jumped from. Move to the center of the north edge to grab the Star Coin.

    Return to the wooden bridge and continue right. Dodge fireballs and fire rings. Reach the end of the platform. Dry Bowser will be on the left edge of the next one.

    Stay on the edge of the platform and dodge Dry Bowser's fireballs until he stops shooting. Dodge his fire ring when he jumps to a side, then run past him. Jump off the wooden bridge onto the stone platform with the black button before the next fire ring reaches you. Stomp the button to grab the Green Clock and defeat Dry Bowser.

    Enter the castle and the Warp Box inside to reach the castle roof. Jump up the crates to the top crate and take a running jump to the right onto the Goal Pole for a 1-Up.

After clearing Special World 8-Bowser's Castle, a scene shows Peach kidnapped again. Returning to the title screen and selecting the save file will place Mario back at World 8-Final Castle.
