Walkthrough

    At the end of the path, you'll find two brick blocks containing coins, with two Peepas circling above. Use the sliding book to your left to wall jump onto the brick blocks or take a running jump. Dodge the Peepas and jump down the stairs onto the tightrope.

    Move off the other side and up the steps. Grab the three Blue Clocks and run down the right side. Jump onto the next tightrope and move across until a Giant Boo appears.

    When the Giant Boo appears, run back to the platform you were just on, grab all the coins there, and then lure the Giant Boo to the left side of the platform, ensuring enough room to get around it and onto the tightrope behind.

    Once lured far enough, sprint around it onto the tightrope and pound down it. Jump onto the right platform and enter the door.

    Alternatively, to get past the Giant Boo, jump up and hit the invisible block above the point on the tightrope that causes the Giant Boo to appear, whilst facing the Giant Boo to keep it at bay.

    Perform a large jump up onto the invisible block and then turn away from the Giant Boo. It will move over to you and sit directly underneath.

    From there, take a running jump to your right, past the Giant Boo and onto the tightrope beyond. Continue onto the platform and enter the door there.

    Outside, wait underneath the teleporting platform until it reaches the ground, then you'll teleport to the top platform. Anticipate the change and start your run up. Jump off the right edge and grab the top of the Goal Pole for a 1-Up.

World 6-4 Walkthrough:

  1. The coloured platforms in this level disappear and appear to the beat of the music. The sequence repeats every two bars, with four beats in each. Bar One: Beat 1 Blue On, Beat 2 Yellow On, Beat 3 Red On, Beat 4 Nothing. Bar Two: Beat 1 Blue Off, Beat 2 Yellow Off, Beat 3 Red Off, Beat 4 Nothing.
  2. Jump up the stairs and to the first set of Beat Platforms (platforms that turn on/off to the beat). Move to the next one as it appears until you're on the other side.
  3. Move to one side of the next platform and move up to the Wallop. Jump so that it jumps and run around it while it's recovering.
  4. Jump up the Beat Platform stairs as they appear and onto the platform above. You'll encounter two Prongos. Move just in front of one so that it dives onto your position. As soon as it starts diving, move out of the way and stomp its underside after it lands.
  5. Do the same for the other Prongo, then hit the ? Blocks. The two side ones contain a coin each, but the middle contains a Tanooki Leaf. Move up to the next platform.
  6. Star Coin Alert! #1: Jump just before the Wallop so that it jumps. When it lands, jump on top of it. From there, you should be able to see the Star Coin on the top of the platform. Jump from the Wallop to the platform and grab the Star Coin. Drop back down and enter the door.
  7. Move along to the start of the Beat Platform stairs. There's a Wallop blocking your path. To get around him, jump when you're just to the right of the stairs (to give you enough room to get around) and then jump onto the stairs. Time your jump so you can land on the stairs straight after moving around the Wallop.
  8. Move up the first set of stairs as they appear. For the next set, wait for the yellow Beat Platform to appear and jump straight to it and onto the platform above.
  9. Star Coin Alert! #2: Wall jump off of the green exterior wall just to the left of the door and onto the platform above the door. Grab the Star Coin up there, drop down and enter the door.
  10. Hit the Checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death) Flag. Jump to each Beat Platform as it appears and then to the other side.
  11. Move through the red ring and collect the first two coins. The jump to collect the higher coin should cause the Wallop to jump. Run around him, jump onto the platform he's on and move past.
  12. Collect the next two coins. The jump to grab the second of those two coins should cause the next Wallop to jump. Move around him like the first one and collect the last red coin. This will give you a 1-Up.
  13. Run along the path until you reach the next set of Beat Platforms. You can run up these as they appear, but you need to be fairly quick. If you're slow, you can skip the red one completely and just jump to the platform above.
  14. Star Coin Alert! #3: Move to the next set. Jump over the Spikebar here whenever you have to. Jump straight to the block that the Spikebar protrudes from. Tanooki Mario (a power-up that allows hovering) here is very helpful as it can be hard to jump onto it accurately without the ability to hover. Grab the Star Coin and jump.
Tips
  • Turning on the music for World 6-4 can make navigating the Beat Platforms easier as they appear and disappear to the music's rhythm.
  • If you are struggling to get onto the block with the Spikebar in World 6-4, using the Tanooki Leaf power-up to hover can make the jump more manageable.
  • Collecting all the red coins in World 6-4 awards a 1-Up.
