Boomerang Flower
Appearance: A plant with a white, boomerang-shaped flower with two eyes.

If they can't return to you, they will eventually disappear. If an enemy is hit by a boomerang, they are usually defeated.

Invincibility Leaf
Appearance: A white and yellow striped leaf with two eyes.
The Invincibility Leaf causes Mario to become Invincible Tanooki Mario. During this time, Mario acts as if he had a regular Tanooki Suit, but is now invincible too! This invincibility stays until you either complete the course, at which point Invincible Tanooki Mario will become regular Tanooki Mario, or until you die by falling down a pit or something similar.
Defeating five or more enemies as Invincible Tanooki Mario will not result in 1-Ups like it does when using a Super Star.
The Invincibility Leaf can be found in Invincibility Leaf Blocks that are found in uncompleted Normal World courses after you die five times or more in without completing it.
Note that having this block appear means that you are no longer eligible to receive 'Glittering Stars' for that Save File, unless the game is restarted without saving.
P-Wing
Appearance: A white wing with a red 'P' on it.
The P-Wing allows you to skip the rest of the course when used, straight to the Goal Pole. In some special courses, the P-Wing doesn't work or will only skip you only part way through a course.
The P-Wing can be found in P-Wing Blocks that are found in uncompleted Normal World courses that you die ten times or more in without completing it.
