Part 50

Part 50 - Cannon Deception: Enter the cannon. Aim significantly higher than the Goal Pole to grab a Star Coin. You will land back on the strip with Spiked Balls. Quickly run back down and re-enter the cannon. You might get hit by a Spiked Ball, but it's okay as you're about to finish the level. Grab the top of the Goal Pole for a 1-Up.

World 8-2 - Initial Platforms: Move north-east onto the first platform. Climb the pole, move right, and jump to the next. Climb to the top, move right, and jump to the third pole.

Star Coin Alert! #1: At the top of the third pole, move to the right side. Jump off and grab the Star Coin just after the two Rocket Engines below stop. Land and jump up the steps to your right, moving out of the way of the Rocket Engines.

Prongos and ? Block: Two Prongos are on this platform. Position yourself in front of one, move away as it dives, and stomp its underside after it lands. Repeat for the second Prongo. Hit the ? Block in the north-west corner for coins. Jump onto the pole to your right.

Moving Pole: The pole will start moving. Move up and down to collect coins, ensuring you are above the Rocket Engines when passing them. When the pole stops, jump right and hit the middle ? Block on the back wall for a coin.

Coin Coffer: Move south and kick the rock for a coin. A Coin Coffer will appear. Stomp it five times without touching the ground to receive a 1-Up. Collect its dropped coins and move to the wooden platform at the far wall.

Rotating Platforms: Jump onto the yellow platform when it's about a third of the way up on the left side. The brick block in the center can be hit for coins, but it's difficult.

Second Rotating Platform: When your current platform is near the right side, jump to the higher of the two yellow platforms to your right. Watch out for the two Rocket Engines.

Star Coin Alert! #2: Stay on the yellow platform until it rotates to the right. Jump off onto the Donut Blocks, grab the Star Coin, and jump to the next yellow platform as it moves towards you.

Checkpoint and Tanooki Leaf: Stay on the left side of your current platform to move under the right Rocket Engine. When between the two Rocket Engines, jump onto their platform and hit the Checkpoint Flag. Move north collecting coins. Defeat the Prongo. Jump onto the brick blocks in the far left corner. Move to the corner block and jump up to hit an invisible ? Block containing a Tanooki Leaf. Grab it and drop down, hitting the back two brick blocks for coins.

Third Moving Pole: Move right and jump onto the pole. Climb to the top, move right, and jump onto the next moving pole when it rises. Move to the right side of this pole and jump to the next. Let it move up, then jump onto the Donut Block and then onto the grassy platform. Staying at the top of the last two poles avoids Rocket Engines.

Final Moving Pole and Star Coin: Deal with the two Prongos. Run up the steps and along the Donut Blocks. Catch the moving pole as it starts to move away. Move up and down to collect coins, navigating the gaps between Rocket Engines. You won't have time for the last few coins. When you reach the end, jump off the right side of the pole onto the platform below.

Star Coin Alert! #3: Wait for the Rocket Engine to stop, then run past it over the Donut Blocks. Jump straight across from these Donut Blocks to the next set.

Course Clear: Navigate the final platforms and reach the Goal Pole.
