Navigate Part 60 of Super Mario Land with our comprehensive guide. Learn strategies for Spiked Poles, Cosmic Clones, Star Coins, and unlimited 1-Ups.
Walkthrough
- 1Cross the wooden bridge, jumping over rotating Spiked Poles.
- 2Jump onto the rubber platform and then to the platform above. Follow it right to grab a 1-Up.
- 3Slow down near the end of the platform to make the Cosmic Clone easier to avoid on the way back.
- 4Jump back to the rubber platform and then to the other side. Run right, collect coins, and fall down the gap to enter the Warp Pipe.
- 5Exit the Warp Pipe, grab the Super Star, and stop to let the Cosmic Clone run into you and die.
- 6Wait for the yellow platform to move down, then jump on it. Move to the left side and jump off the right edge at its highest point to grab the top of the Goal Pole for a 1-Up.
- 7Jump into the cannon and aim up at the yellow ring to be fired onto the platform above. Hit the roulette block for a random item.
- 8Star Coin #1: Instead of running between the Baddie Boxes, run left. Look off the left edge for an 8-Bit fireball platform. Jump down, grab the Star Coin, and hit the Warp Box to return to the beginning. Use the cannon again to return to the Baddie Box platform.
- 9Use the Baddie Boxes to farm 1-Ups: let six Goombas spawn, then stomp them all without touching the ground for two 1-Ups. Repeat as desired. With a Tanooki Suit, you can hover after each stomp to spawn more Goombas for an unlimited supply.
- 10Run north between the Baddie Boxes to the edge of the platform and jump into the cannon. Aim up at the red ring and fire.
- 11Collect the red coins on the platform above (and yellow coins). The prize is a 1-Up (or Statue Leaf for normal/Small Mario). Enter the next cannon on the right.
- 12When you land, crawl into the holes in the wall behind the two coins to collect coins.
- 13Tail Spin/Roll to break the brick block covering another hole. Enter and take the right path to a Mystery Box.
- 141-Up: Find an invisible block north of the northernmost brick block on the left wall. Hit it, then break the blocks in the bottom left corner to make the 1-Up fall. Grab it. Other brick blocks contain coins.
- 15Crawl back out of the hole. If Tanooki Bullet Bills are shot out, stomping them can yield a Statue Leaf (one per blaster).
- 16The five flying ? Blocks can be hit for coins, but be cautious of Bullet Bills. A Large ? Block on the south edge also yields coins.
- 17Star Coin #2: Move to the southern-most point of the platform and take a running jump south and to your right. Land on an 8-Bit fireball platform, grab the Star Coin, and hit the Warp Box to reach a cloud platform. Use the cannon to return to the bullet bill platform.
- 18Move to the left side of the platform.
