Move right and jump onto rotating blocks, timing your jumps to land on the next side when the corner points directly up.

Star Coin Alert! #1: Jump from a red rotating block to a blue one. Run to the far side, grab the Star Coin, and return to the closer side to jump to the next red block and platform.

Continue right, stomping Paragoombas. Use brick blocks to reach a higher platform. Hit the two ? Blocks, grab the Tanooki Leaf from the right one. Tail spin the last brick block on the far right corner for coins.

Time your jump onto the long green rotating block as soon as possible. Run and jump to the next side when the corner points up. Jump off the right side, aiming for the rainbow note block. If you miss, wall jump off the back wall to reach it and press 'A' to launch into the air.

Star Coin Alert! #2: Run right, hit the ? Block for a Super Star. Sprint along the path, hitting four Biddybuds and one Para-Biddybud. If you hit them all while invincible, you get a 1-Up. At the end, jump at the edge to grab the Star Coin, skipping a long green platform and a Paragoomba.

When you land, grab coins and stomp the Coin Coffer five times without touching the ground to get a 1-Up. Grab its coins.

Hit the ! Block four times, then jump on top and follow the platform blocks to the right. Hit the Checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death) Flag. Break the two brick blocks to your right.

Look through the Binoculars (a tool to see distant objects). Look up onto the castle-like wall and then right until you see the Blue Toad. Zoom in, let him throw the Star Coin, zoom out, and follow it to land.

Star Coin Alert! #3: Jump onto the red rotating block. Move north, jumping to change sides as needed, taking out the Paragoomba. Jump to the blue rotating block on your left and grab the Star Coin.

Jump back to the red block, move south to the yellow block, and go through the red ring. Jump to the green block, follow it, and collect the red coins, being careful not to fall. A 1-Up will spawn; grab it.

Move to the far side of the green block and jump left onto the red one. Move to its far side, stomping the Paragoomba. Jump to the yellow block, then continue, taking out the Paragoomba. You can optionally defeat the Paragoomba on the blue blocks.

Move to the end of the yellow blocks, jump north onto the last blue block, and take out the Paragoomba if needed. Jump right onto the red block, right again onto the yellow one, and right once more onto the long green one.

Time your jump off the green block at its peak rotation for maximum height, using a run-up. With Tanooki Mario, you should reach the top of the Goal Pole. If you miss, land back on the green block's right edge and try again.
