Alright, so you want to see the secret ending and snag that 'The Storm Quelled' achievement in Dragon Age: The Veilguard? Awesome! It all comes down to finding three special Codex entries, called Mysterious Circles, scattered across Thedas. It's a bit of a scavenger hunt that will have you diving into a good chunk of the game's content, so get ready to explore!

A Mysterious Circle Location

The first Mysterious Circle, simply titled A Mysterious Circle, is probably the most straightforward of the bunch. You'll need to have completed Davrin’s 'How to Train a Griffon' quest first, as this opens up the eastern section of the Arlathan Forest. Head over to the Waterfront Glades and look for a chest sitting in the middle of the water. Seems impossible to reach, right? Well, check out the pillars around the glades. You need to find and activate the devices on them to direct lasers towards the chest's location. There are three such devices: one to the northwest, one to the northeast, and one to the southeast of the small island. Once you've got the lasers aligned, a path will form, letting you reach the island. But wait, there's a Level 26 Guardian of Secrets construct guarding the chest. Take it down, and then, behind where the chest was, you'll find the first circle etched onto a pillar.

A Second Circle Location

For the second circle, you'll need to push through the main story until you unlock the Necropolis Halls for exploration. Once that's done, you can pick up a pretty involved side quest called 'Pinnacle of its Kind.' This quest is no joke – it'll send you to Dock Town, Hossberg Wetlands, and Arlathan Forest to hunt down a demon. After that, you have to backtrack to where you started the quest and face off against a Level 45 dragon known as the Formless One. After you finally defeat that beast, you'll find yourself in a huge room filled with chests. Amidst all that loot, look for A Second Circle in the southwest corner of the Chamber of the Unforged. You'll hear some more cryptic whispers there.

A Final Circle

With two circles in hand, only one remains! This last one is tied to what's possibly the game's toughest side quest, 'The Heart of Corruption.' You can actually pick this quest up pretty early, when you first reach Beacon Island in The Crossroads, but you won't be able to finish it until much later in the game. This quest involves defeating three specific Champions to unlock gates in The Crossroads, leading to some really tough Revenant battles. Once you've dealt with those, you can head through the door to the east of where you spawn on Beacon Island. This leads to a fight against a Level 50 Revenant Dragon – the highest-level enemy you'll encounter in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. After you've beaten the dragon, go towards the Unique Chest, but instead of opening it, climb up to your left. There you'll find A Final Circle.

Once you've collected all three circles, make sure you've also completed the 'Regrets of the Dread Wolf' quest and have Mythal’s Essence in your inventory. Finish the rest of the game, and after the credits roll, you'll be treated to the secret ending. This ending hints at what's to come for Dragon Age and unlocks the The Storm Quelled Achievement/Trophy. Congrats, you did it!
