    Quest Trigger: Progress the main quest to Act 2 and complete Taash's preceding quests. Return to The Lighthouse periodically for new quests from Taash.

    Location: Travel to Arlathan Forest and fast travel to the Mystical Tower beacon in the northwest. Speak with Taash to begin the quest.

    Reach Fangscorcher's Lair: Enter the Deep Woods. Follow the path until Taash alerts you to a blocked main path. Climb left and continue until you enter a building.

    Inside the Building: Ascend the first set of stairs. After a small gap, turn right instead of going up the next stairs to find a hole leading to a gear chest. Return to the stairs and continue to the top, kicking down a ladder for a shortcut. At the very top, look to your right for a second gear chest.

    Enchanted Courtyard: Drop down into the Enchanted Courtyard. Defeat the Antaam, loot another gear chest, and find an Antaam Note in the southwest corner revealing their role in capturing and blighting dragons. Head north through the door, loot the chest, and proceed through the woods.

    Confrontation: As you exit, Fangscorcher appears. Avoid confrontation by heading west to a sheltered path. Follow the Hazardous Passage to the clearing.

    Defeat Fangscorcher: Fangscorcher is a High Dragon weak to Cold and resistant to Fire. Dodge its attacks, including bites, kicks, ground pounds, Fireballs, meteor strikes, AoE damage, and sweeping Fire Beams. Fangscorcher retreats periodically and is invulnerable during these phases; focus on dodging.
