Follow our step-by-step guide to complete the 'Something Wrong' quest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Find blight samples, defeat enemies, and claim your rewards!
Alright, so you've got a quest called 'Something Wrong' and need to gather some proof about the blight changing. First things first, make sure you've got the right team assembled for the upcoming fights. The guide doesn't specify who, but picking your best companions is always a solid move.
Walkthrough
- 1You'll start by heading to a merchant to grab some upgrades. Don't skip this – better gear makes everything smoother. After that, make your way southeast of Lavendel to a place called the Blighted Tunnel.
- 2Your main goal here is to track down five blight samples. Work your way through the tunnel, keeping an eye out for any explosives that might drop from above. You'll also need to destroy any boils you see.
- 3Keep pushing through the tunnel, destroying boils and grabbing those samples.
- 4Once you exit the cave, you'll be at the Old Crossroads. Take a left here. You'll find another boil tucked away in a corner. The catch? You can't destroy it until you've dealt with any boils connected to it.
- 5Head over to the large open area to the north. You'll see a boil near the cave entrance – shoot it.
- 6Now, make your way to the center of this area. There's another boil you need to shoot, and doing so will free up a ballista.
- 7Before you use the ballista, shoot the boil that's directly in front of it. This is a bit of a trap, as it'll accidentally release an elite enemy.
- 8Quickly hop onto the ballista and use it to take down that elite enemy. It's your best bet for dealing with it efficiently.
- 9After that, grab the final sample, which is located inside the cave.
- 10Finally, return all the samples you've collected to Evka and Antoine. This will trigger a cutscene and officially close out the quest.
Tips
- Always check the merchant for upgrades before heading into a new area. It can save you a lot of trouble.
- Pay attention to environmental cues like dropping explosives – they're usually a sign of danger.
- If a boil seems indestructible, look for connected boils first. That's usually the key to progressing.
