Something's Coming

Start the Quest: Complete the main quests 'Blood of Arlathan' and 'The Words of the Wolf'. After 'The Words of the Wolf', search the Library for the scroll 'A Letter from the Hossberg Wetlands'. Travel to the Hossberg Wetlands and speak with Evka and Antoine.

Reach the Redoubt: Fast travel to the Castle Grounds beacon and proceed north to the Grey Warden Redoubt. Destroy darkspawn along the way.

Clear the Path: In the Inner Courtyard, find and destroy approximately seven blight cysts. Some cysts spawn darkspawn, including Alpha Hurlocks, which you must defeat. Destroy one more blight cyst on a tower above a blight passage.

Destroy Blight Cysts: Continue to a segmented walkway lined with ballistae. Work your way northwest, destroying two shielded blight cysts. Once all cysts are gone, the blight passage below will become vulnerable. Destroy it.

Destroy the Blight Eruption: Pass through the blight passage to reach The Blight Eruption area. Approach the large blight cyst on the ruins. Defeat the attacking darkspawn, including Alpha Hurlocks, Alpha Hurlock Spikers, and Ghouls. Hunt down the scattered blight cysts on the ground floor. An Alpha Ogre will spawn; defeat it.

Finalize the Objective: Destroy a blight passage leading up to The Blight Eruption. When prompted, use Alchemical Flame to ignite and destroy The Blight Eruption.

Complete the Quest: Fast travel back to Lavendel and travel west to find Evka and Antoine at the Sheltered Glade. Speak with them to complete the quest.
