Walkthrough

    Head to Shathaan’s home in Rivain, located northeast of the region on the world map.

    After cutscenes, select your party and return to Rivain.

    Go to the southeast of the Winding Shoreline and pick up Shathaan’s scent on a boat.

    Follow the path east and defeat the group of Antaam, prioritizing ranged enemies before Warbrand Karataar.

    Speak with Taash once the area is clear.

    Continue up the stairs to the southeast.

    Have Taash melt the meltable object on your left to use a ladder to reach the Clifftops area faster.

Tips
  • When fighting Antaam, focus on ranged enemies first.
  • When fighting Cutter, deal with other Antaam first, but be aware Cutter can vanish.
  • Kaltenzahn is an Ice Dragon, resistant to Ice and weak to Fire.
  • Stick close to Kaltenzahn and aim for its glowing weak points, provided you are good at dodging its swipes and dives.
  • Be aware that Kaltenzahn can shoot iceballs at you from range.
