This guide details the locations of all 25 regular chests and unique chests found in the Rivain region of Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Many chests require revisiting areas or solving environmental puzzles.

Regular Chests:

1. Regular Chest 1 - Winding Shoreline: Found in a cave during the Dragon Slayer main quest, located on the right wall after a fight with the Antaam.
2. Regular Chest 2 - Clifftops Statue Puzzle: Located behind a locked gate near the Grey Warden fort. Rotate three statues to drop a ladder: Left Statue (Right), Middle Statue (Left), Right Statue (Facing the wall).
3. Regular Chest 3 - Warden Castle: Found in the Warden Castle, following the corridors south. It's near the exit to the open area.
4. Regular Chest 4 - Clifftops: On ledges on the west side of the Clifftops area, near a ladder leading down. Climb ledges and leap to a platform.
5. Regular Chest 5 - Clifftops Brazier Puzzle: In the southeast of the Clifftops, behind a locked door. Light braziers in order: North of the door (up ledges), west of the Beacon (on a ledge), and in front of the door.
6. Regular Chest 6 - Clifftops: West of the Beacon, climb ledges. Use Lucanis’ ability on a Fade tear to create a platform to a chest.
7. Regular Chest 7 - Warden Castle Torch Puzzle: In Warden Castle, related to the Warden’s Vault quest. Use Taash’s ability on a Gaatlock Barrel near the entrance to reach a new area, activate torches, and head upstairs.
8. Regular Chest 8 - Warden Castle Wisp Puzzle: In Warden Castle, related to the third Warden Lock during the Warden Vault quest. Head to the Castle Bailey, use a Gaatlock Barrel to drop a ladder, grab the Wisp, go into the Castle, and take the Wisp to the end of the corridor to activate a device.
9. Regular Chest 9 - Castle Bailey: In the Castle Bailey. After knocking down the ladder to the Wisp, climb it and follow the walkway to the south side of the Bailey, then take a ladder down.
