Complete the Mercenary Intent quest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Find clues in the Venatori Warehouse, defeat enemies on Low Tide Beach, and free prisoners for rewards.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
After completing the Fire and Ice Main Quest and Neve's companion quest "A Clear Mind", return to the Smuggler's Dock. Defeat the initial group of enemies to trigger the Mercenary Intent quest.
  2. 2
Head to the Venatori Warehouse, located north of the docks.
  3. 3
On the first floor, pick up the "A Notice" note pinned to a wooden beam.
  4. 4
Go upstairs and enter the room on the left to find the "Scribbled Note".
  5. 5
Enter the room on the right to find the "Hastly Reply".
  6. 6
With all three pieces of evidence collected, leave the warehouse and head southeast.
  7. 7
Pass the wooden shack on the Low Tide Beach to encounter another large group of enemies.
  8. 8
Defeat all enemies on the beach. Pay attention to enemy shields: use heavy attacks for Yellow Shields and long-range attacks for Blue Shields. The Venatori War-Mage is the toughest opponent; use combo-attacks and ice-based attacks to exploit her elemental weakness.
  9. 9
Once the area is clear, open the nearby cages to free the prisoners and complete the quest.
Tips
  • When fighting enemies on the beach, prioritize breaking shields. Yellow Shields require heavy attacks, while Blue Shields need long-range attacks (e.g., Bow: Rogue, Shield Throw: Warrior, Staff: Mage).
  • The Venatori War-Mage is vulnerable to ice-based attacks and can be quickly defeated with combo-attacks.
  • 500 XP
  • Defiant Plate
  • +100 Shadow Dragons Strength
  • Companion Bond Increase
