A Cage for Gods

After completing 'Isle of the Gods,' you will automatically start 'A Cage for Gods' in a desaturated ruin in the Fade.

Head north, then northwest to find a chest sealed by three motes of light. To open it, you must explore the other paths.

Western Path: Go northwest, leap over boulders to cross a gap, and find a wolf statue. Collect the Remnant of Failure (+200 Caretaker Power) from the ground. Return to the chest; one mote of light will be gone.

Northwestern Path: Take stairs northwest (which run north and east). Approach a gap to spawn boulders to cross. Near another wolf statue, collect the Remnant of Reflection (+200 Caretaker Power). Return to the chest; a second mote of light will be gone.

Southeastern Path: From your starting point, head east and north, navigating stairs to find the Remnant of Parting (+200 Caretaker Power) near a statue.

Return to the chest. With all motes gone, open it to receive the Displace rune, Storm rune, Rampart rune, and the Arlathan’s Fall cosmetic.

Escape the Prison: Take the northern of the two eastern paths. A staircase will appear. Ascend and follow the linear path.

You will encounter statues of three friends you've failed. Your dialogue choices here do not significantly alter the outcome, as Rook rationalizes her decisions. The dialogue will be influenced by your past choices, including companion quests and treatment of companions.

After this encounter, return to Solas’s ritual site for a final revelation and cutscenes.

Upon completion of the scenes, 'A Cage for Gods' will end, and the quest 'The Dragon and the Dreadwolf' will begin.
