The Cobbled Swan Case Quest Walkthrough

Return to The Lighthouse and speak with Neve to begin the quest.

Head to Dock Town and find Neve outside The Cobbled Swan at Wharf Crossing South.

Investigate the crime scene by examining the drag marks to the left of the bar, the door in front of them, the crushed flower petals on the table in the booth to the left of the door, the bar itself, and the tipped-over table and chairs on the eastern side of the bar.

Speak with Rana to learn about the singer, then head outside to speak with Halos and the Diner at Piscator Landing.

Go to Wharf Crossing South and speak with Benny on a cart, then proceed to Shoreline Passage Dock to question Nira.

Nira reveals the singer is Cida Ciconia. Head to The Lamplighter in the Side Alley Bridge Area.

Learn that Damas was taken by the Venatori in the Thread Market. Go to Shoreline Passage, take a left from the stairs, and follow the narrow path to the Thread Market.

Defeat the Venatori and shoot the red crystals to unseal the door. If a crystal is hard to hit, it's connected to another nearby.

After removing the barrier, go upstairs, enter the room on the left, open the gear chest, and proceed through the double doors to trigger a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically).

Fight the possessed Makal Damas. Strip his shield with ranged attacks (Bow: Rogue, Staff: Mage, Shield Throw: Warrior), use combo attacks, and exploit his Ice elemental weakness. Keep moving to avoid his fast scythe attacks.

After the battle, choose between "Deal. Bataris threatens lives" or "No. We’ll find a better way". If romancing Neve, select "Deal. Bataris threatens lives" for her approval.

Return to The Lighthouse and speak with Neve. If romancing her, select "I’m here for you."
