The Treasure of Sharksmouth Mountain Quest Walkthrough

Quest Unlock: This quest becomes available in the later stages of Act 2 after completing most of Taash’s companion quests, particularly 'The Lair of the Dragon King'. This quest unlocks the other half of the Rivain region.

Quest Start: There are two ways to initiate the quest:

• Head to the vault door located at the top of the Lava Caves, just before the dragon fight in 'The Lair of the Dragon King', and examine the plaque on the wall.

Alternatively, find one of the scattered clues within the Lava Caves, which will start the quest and guide you.

Statue Puzzle: The riddle outside the treasure room door provides clues to solve the statue puzzle:

• "One fired unto the rightward flank, her arrows a steel rain." (Refers to Rian)

"One lingered, their shield behind to guard all’s back." (Refers to Ifean)

"One went boldly to the fore, her sword thrust forward unto the foe." (Refers to Dheon)

"One crept upon the leftward flank, his hammer a harvest reaped." (Refers to Cruach)

Solving the Puzzle: Make your way to the room with the statues, located just outside where you fought the dragon in 'The Lair of the Dragon King'. Rotate the statues to face the following directions:

• Dheon: North

Ifean: South

Cruach: West

Rian: East

Claiming the Treasure: If the statues are rotated correctly, they will lock into place. Exit the building the way you came. You will find stairs leading down in a corner. Descend these stairs to reach the treasure room, which contains two regular chests and one unique chest.
