Master Geometry Dash game modes, including Normal Mode for full level completion and Practice Mode with checkpoints for honing your skills.
Geometry Dash offers several game modes, each serving a different purpose:
- Normal Mode: The standard way to play. You must complete the level from start to finish without dying. Progress is saved only upon completion.
- Practice Mode: Activated by clicking the green flag icon before starting a level. In this mode, you can place checkpoints (green diamonds) by tapping the flag icon during gameplay. If you die, you respawn at your last checkpoint. This mode is invaluable for learning difficult sections and memorizing timings. Completing a level in Practice Mode does not count as a full completion but helps you earn Orbs.
- Gauntlets: A series of 5 user-created levels linked together. You must complete all 5 levels consecutively to earn rewards like unique icons and shards. Each Gauntlet has a specific theme or difficulty.
- Map Packs: Collections of 3 user-created levels, usually with a similar difficulty rating. Completing all levels in a Map Pack earns you Secret Coins.
- Daily/Weekly Levels: Featured user-created levels that refresh daily or weekly. Completing these often grants bonus Orbs and Diamonds.
- Featured Levels: Hand-picked, high-quality user-created levels showcased by RobTop. These are often challenging and innovative.
Each mode offers a unique way to experience the vast content of Geometry Dash.
