Master Part 69 in Unreal Tournament with our guide covering The Ship and AS-HighSpeed maps. Learn objectives, strategies, and advanced movement techniques for victory.
The Ship Walkthrough:
- Objective 1: The Ship
Attackers must advance towards the ship. Defenders should prevent them from reaching the ship's door. If attackers are knocked into the water, they will swim under the ship; ensure they don't retrieve the belt.
- Objective 2: The Hydraulic Compressor
If attackers breach the ship's door, they will proceed down the main corridor towards the Compressor. Eliminate them before they reach it.
- Objective 3: Missiles
If the Compressor is breached, teammates will defend the upstairs room. Defenders should position themselves further forward, ideally near the ship's door. Utilize power-ups and the minigun turret to defend the area. Attackers will ascend the ship's staircases; utilize camping spots at the top of the stairs to attack approaching enemies, especially with shock-combos.
The Ship Tips:
- Consider arranging bots in a staggered formation for better defense rather than leaving them to freelance. A suggested setup: one bot in the main spawn-room, another at the thigh pads, and the last at the Missiles. This allows for shared flak ammo and dedicated shock ammo for the bots.
- Defenders can attempt to reach the attackers' spawn point to acquire a sniper rifle and ammo, which can be a significant advantage if skilled.
- The Compressor can be reached more easily if The Ship objective is not triggered first.
- Explore different routes through the ship; avoid the most obvious path.
- Advanced movement techniques like hammer-jumping can be used to reach the deck quickly, grab the Compressor, and position yourself for the door opening.
- Invisible ledges exist on the ship's hull, allowing for advanced jumps to the deck.
- The interior of the ship can be navigated using hammer-jumps from the bottom of the staircase.
- Reaching the top deck from the main deck requires over 100 health for double hammer-jumps. A ripper-jump bind can facilitate this with fewer resources.
- Using a combination of ripper-jumps and hammer-jumps off walls and railings can allow access to areas normally out of reach, though these are difficult to execute.
- It's possible to reach the roof of the attackers' spawn building using advanced techniques without external aids.
AS-HighSpeed Walkthrough:
- Objective 1: Car 3
Attackers aim to advance through the train cars. Defenders will likely be positioned low outside Car 3. Attackers can use jump boots to stick to the roofs of the carriages, bypassing defenders.
- Objective 2: Car 2
Continue advancing through the train.
- Objective 3: Car 1
Reach Car 1 and locate the hatch in the roof. Stand on the hatch to open it, drop through, and hit the Control Cabin Access Switch.
