How to Earn Hunter Acclaim

Alright, so you're diving into Diablo IV's Season of the Blood and wondering about this 'Hunter Acclaim' thing? Think of it as your progress tracker for all the vampire-slaying you'll be doing. Basically, the more you fight the bad guys, especially those nasty elite vampires like Blood Seekers and Ancients, and the more you jump into those Blood Harvest events, the more Acclaim you'll rack up. Even just running around in a Blood Harvest and taking down random enemies or helping out those poor Injured Adventurers, Captive Villagers, or clearing Corpse Piles will get you Acclaim. It's pretty hard to avoid earning it while you're busy in these areas, and since many of those events also count towards your Grim Favors for the Tree of Whispers, you've got a good reason to do them anyway!

Before you can start cashing in on the rewards, you'll need to get a couple of introductory quests done. First up is the season quest called Blood Money. After that, once you've got your Vampiric Powers unlocked, you'll need to tackle The Hunter's Chase. This quest will have you grabbing a Blood Lure from a Blood Harvest event. Blood Lures are basically special currency you find that let you kick off various events within the Blood Harvest. You'll probably get your first one after just a few fights. Once you snag one and bring it to an NPC named Hunter Petyr, he'll point you towards the Hunter Acclaim Board. That's where you'll see all the cool stuff you can unlock as you earn more Acclaim.

Hunter Acclaim Board Rewards

The Hunter Acclaim Board has 18 tiers of rewards. As you earn Acclaim, you'll unlock these rewards sequentially. Most of them are caches, which are like mystery boxes that contain items. You'll get rarer items in the early tiers (I through VII) and more legendary gear in the later tiers (VIII through XVIII). On top of the gear, you'll likely find some Potent Blood in these caches, which is super useful for activating your Vampiric Powers. The really exciting unlocks are at Tier IV, where you get the Sanguine Brace Vampiric Power, and at Tier IX, where you unlock the Accursed Touch Vampiric Power. While these caches might not make you a millionaire, they're great for getting crafting materials or some extra gold. Plus, completing all 18 tiers is part of the Season Journey, so you'll want to knock them out anyway. Honestly, it's not a chore at all, especially with how much incentive there is to play Blood Harvests.
