Master the diablo iv Sepanzontec Eagle Evade Spiritborn (SEES) build for fast Torment I farming. Learn skills, gear, and pros/cons.
Walkthrough
- 1Levels 1-14: Primarily use Thunderspike and Quill Volley. Thunderspike is a permanent part of the build, while Quill Volley's importance can vary. Grab skills like Ravager in the Focus branch for elite fights. The passive skill Apex is useful. The core loop is to Evade through enemies to make them Vulnerable, then spam Quill Volley to deal damage and recover Focus, followed by Thunderspike to recover Evade charges and Focus. Gear is not a major focus at this stage.
- 2Level 1-14 Skills:
- Thunderspike: 1 Rank, Enhanced Thunderspike, Accelerated Thunderspike
- 3Quill Volley: 5 Ranks, Enhanced Quill Volley, Rampant Quill Volley
- 4Level 15+: Complete the Spiritborn unique class quest to unlock the Spirit Hall passive skills. Select Eagle as your tribal passive. This grants a Storm Feathers Movement Speed bonus when casting an Eagle Skill, and Evading flings Storm Feathers that deal Lightning damage and make targets Vulnerable for 5 seconds. All skills now count as Eagle Skills.
- 5Evade as Primary Damage: At this point, Evade becomes your main damage source, healing you and recovering Focus via the Vital Strikes key passive. Vital Strikes also grants 45% increased damage to Vulnerable enemies, heals you for 2% of Maximum Life, and generates 5 Vigor on your next direct damage hit after making an enemy Vulnerable.
- 6Increasing Evade Charges: To maximize Evade effectiveness, find boots that grant Evade charges (up to +2) and purchase ranks of the passive skill Acceleration. Aim for 4-6 Evade charges.
- 7Level 15-59 Skills: Focus on unlocking skills and passives that boost damage output and cooldowns. The ultimate key passive Vital Strikes is a top priority.
Tips
- The SEES build excels at clearing Torment I quickly but its damage output significantly decreases in Torment II.
- While Evade spamming is key, be mindful that it can sometimes lead to dangerous situations if not managed carefully.
- The build's simplicity makes it ideal for players who want to turn off their brain and grind resources for more complex builds.
- Focus on acquiring gear with Evade charges on boots and the Acceleration passive to enhance the build's core mechanic.
Pros:
- Incredibly fast Torment I clear speeds.
- High survivability.
- Easy playstyle.
Cons:
- Damage output slows considerably in Torment II.
- Evade spamming can land you in trouble.
