You might have a level 50 character rocking gear that feels like it's from level 40. That's where Sacred Items come in – they're a game-changer because they actually scale with your level, dropping at or near your current character level once you're past 50.

Why does this matter so much? Simple: higher level means better stats. We're talking more Armor, more DPS, and generally beefier rolls across the board. A rare Sacred item at level 50 can easily outclass those legendary items you were so proud of just a few levels prior. If you're level 50 and beyond, Sacred items are pretty much what you'll want to be equipping.

You can spot them easily enough – they'll have (Sacred) written next to their name on the ground, and their icons will have a distinct golden glow in your inventory. Any gear quality can drop as Sacred, which is pretty neat.

How to Get Your Hands on Sacred Items

Here's the main thing: Sacred items only start appearing in World Tier 3 and higher. So, first things first, you'll need to conquer the Cathedral of Light Capstone Dungeon. Once that's done, head over to the World Tier Statue and switch your game to Nightmare difficulty. That's World Tier 3 for you.

Once you're in World Tier 3, Sacred items can drop from pretty much any source that gives you loot. Think enemies, chests, even vendors and the gambling system. However, if you want to really focus your efforts, your best bets are usually the chests you can find during Helltide events or by trying your luck with gambling.

During Helltides, you'll be collecting Aberrant Cinders by defeating enemies and looting objects. You can then spend these Cinders on specific chests that offer certain item types. While the Cinder costs vary, you're pretty much guaranteed to get a Sacred item from these, often of rare or legendary quality.

Gambling with the Purveyor of Curiosities works similarly to how you're used to, but you'll need to keep an eye out for that golden halo on the items they're offering. That halo indicates a chance to yield Sacred items. It's a bit random, so you can't rely on a specific gambling category always having Sacred items available, but the costs themselves remain the same.

Of course, you can still snag Sacred items by doing other activities like clearing regular Dungeons or the tougher Nightmare Dungeons, completing Events, or any other activity that rewards loot. Just keep playing and you'll find them!
