Learn how to complete the 'Prisoners in the Temple' quest in Assassin's Creed Origins. Find all five priests and loot three hidden chests for XP and rewards.

Alright, so Medunamun might be gone, but the Temple of Amun still has a few loose ends to tie up. You've got a couple of chests to loot and, more importantly, some priests to rescue. It's a good chunk of XP and some handy loot, so let's get it done. Don't just waltz in, though – the temple's still crawling with Medunamun's soldiers, so you'll need to be smart about it.

Your main goal here is to clear out all the enemies. If you use Senu to scout and play it stealthy with your bow, you'll make short work of them. As you're exploring, you might hear some priests calling out. Freeing even one of them kicks off the quest "Prisoners in the Temple", and your new objective is to find and free all five. Honestly, you'll probably end up clearing the whole place anyway trying to reach them, so just focus on taking out everyone you see.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Find the first priest: Head to the western corner of the temple complex. From the southern gate, hang a left (northwest) and follow the outer wall. You're looking for a building with a vine-covered roof. The first priest is chilling near a hay wagon.
  2. 2
Find the second priest: From that first priest, head northeast. Go up some stairs, and when they end, turn left (northwest). You'll find another priest inside a brick house.
  3. 3
Find the third and fourth priests: Look for a white tower located south-southwest of the main white stone temple. From the tower, turn southwest. You'll find priests number four and five chilling together in a cage.
  4. 4
Find the fifth priest: Now, turn south from the cage and climb a wall. You'll find a house with a pond out front. The last priest is inside, down on the bottom floor.

Once all five priests are freed, you'll get an experience reward.

Looting the Chests:

  1. Chest 1: This one's in the same house where you found the fifth priest, up on the upper floor. Remember, this house is in the southern corner of the temple complex.
  2. Chest 2: Head to the northern-most corner of the temple complex. You'll find another chest in a house there.
  3. Chest 3: Inside the main temple itself, look for a room northwest of where Medunamun used to hang out. It's at the end of some stairs leading down into a cave – the chest is on an altar in there.
  • Completing the quest “Prisoners in the Temple”: 500 XP
  • Completing the Temple of Amun (looting chests): 150 XP
