Follow our Assassin's Creed Origins walkthrough to complete The Baker's Dilemma quest. Rescue the baker's taster and find poisoned bread in Memphis.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Make your way to the northeastern end of Memphis and find Teta, a baker. Talk to her to learn that her taster, Sasobek, has been imprisoned.
  2. 2
Deploy Senu to locate the wagon carrying Sasobek. The driver circles the Corrupted Soldiers Cache point of interest on the island to the southeast.
  3. 3
Avoid picking a fight when the wagon is near the Memphis Barracks. Your goal is to eliminate the driver, break the cage, and rescue Sasobek.
  4. 4
Carry Sasobek back to Teta. He will reveal that guards were bragging about poisoning Taimhotep.
  5. 5
Head south to the Memphis Barracks to find the poisoned pastries.
  6. 6
Before going to the barracks, stop at the Corrupted Soldiers Cache, a small, square-shaped area surrounded by canals.
  7. 7
Inside the Corrupted Soldiers Cache, kill the guards (levels 20-21) and nearby crocodiles. Loot a red chest inside one of the buildings to complete the location objective.
  8. 8
Head west to the Memphis Barracks, a large fortress. Use Senu to locate jars of poisoned bread and tag guards (levels 20-23), the captain (level 24), and the commander (level 25).
  9. 9
Infiltrate the barracks by climbing the walls, targeting corner towers, or by swimming through a submerged cave to a well on the north side.
  10. 10
Be aware of guards on the walls and grounds, and avoid the western end of the fort where a major road is located.
  11. 11
Sabotage the alarm brazier on the eastern end of the roof of the large building on the western side of the fort.
  12. 12
Kill all guards and locate approximately seven jars of poisoned bread, mostly in the large structure on the western end.
  13. 13
Find the two treasures: one in a room along the northern end of the large building on the western side, and another red chest in a building northwest of the southern entrance. Looting the last treasure completes the location objective.
  14. 14
Destroying the last jar of poisoned bread completes the quest.
