- 1After completing "Shadya's Rest," talk to Hotephres and Khenut to learn about their plan to liberate Faiyum.
- 2Go east and speak with a farmer. To gain his trust, light three bundles of straw on fire using an "On Fire" bow or your torch.
- 3Talk to the farmer again, mentioning you killed the captain who was bothering him.
- 4Return to Hotephres's villa. Soldiers will attack; defeat the two brutes and the elite soldier.
- 5Follow Khenut out of the villa and ride southeast to the rebel base.
- 6Travel northeast to Cleon's Dam to rescue the rebel leader from the enemy camp. Clear the guards, free the leader, and escort him to safety.
- 7Infiltrate Fort Boubastos to kill the commander. The fort has two captains (level 32), a commander (level 33), and four treasures.
- 8Consider a strategy where you leave the fort, circle around to the southeastern edge, and let a small group of rebels attack the fort first. Wait for the guards to calm down after their assault.
- 9Scout remaining enemies with Senu. Scale a wall in an advantageous position and eliminate enemies, prioritizing those with your hidden blade. Be aware of archers using fire arrows and enemies with fire bombs and smoke bombs.

- At Cleon's Dam, the captain is level 32. The camp has towers and heavy brutes. Chain Assassination can be useful.
- Fort Boubastos is a large fort with a lower section near water and an elevated main part. A cave in the cliffs leads into the interior but scaling the walls is often more advantageous.
- The scepter-armed super captain in Fort Boubastos is a significant threat.
