Follow our comprehensive guide to complete the Founding Father quest in Assassin's Creed Origins, including Tomb of Battos and Roman Akropolis objectives and rewards.
Walkthrough
- 1Tomb of Battos: Climb the columns to the shrine's roof, then jump through a hole into the interior. Exit the water and find the Papyrus Puzzle scroll "Underground Currents" on a table. Head downstairs to find Battos' remains and relics, noting they've been disturbed by Romans. Use your Animus Pulse to highlight objects and investigate the empty pedestals where the Medallion of Battos and Bow of Battos once were.
- 2Roman Akropolis: Exit the Tomb of Battos and use Senu to locate the stolen artifacts within the Roman Akropolis. One relic is carried by a soldier (location may vary), and the other is in a building on the southwestern edge of the stronghold. Avoid entering the central shrine to prevent advancing the "The Final Weighing" quest if you haven't completed it.
- 3Clearing the Akropolis: Scale the acropolis walls and use Senu for a detailed scan to locate enemies (guards levels 35-36, captains level 37, commander level 38), treasure, and alarm braziers (southwestern and northwestern edges). Use stealth and archery from the walls to eliminate guards. Be aware of potential random treasure convoys.
- 4Retrieving Relics: Kill the soldier carrying the Medallion of Battos. Search the building below the southwestern alarm brazier for the Bow of Battos on the second floor. A red chest is on the first floor of this building.
- 5Looting the Akropolis: Find Treasure #1 in the building under the southwestern alarm brazier. Head northeast into another building for Treasure #2. Enter the building under the northwestern alarm brazier, descend into the cellar for Treasure #3 (large white chest). Find Treasure #4 (small white chest) in a building northeast of the temple, on a second-floor table.
- 6Returning Relics: Once you have both relics and have looted the Akropolis, return to the Tomb of Battos and give the stolen relics to Iakchos. He will take the medallion and allow you to keep the bow.
- Tomb of Battos: 450 XP
- Roman Akropolis: 1,500 XP
- Founding Father Quest: 3,000 XP
