Your friend's guide to Assassin's Creed Origins' 'The Old Library' quest: How to find the Sword of Ptah and clear Dasos Hideout.

Alright, so for this next bit, we need to head back east to that island where we dealt with that 'Taste of Her Sting' quest. Fast travel back to the Serqet temple ruins – you know, the one in the middle of the island. Once you land, just hop down and head towards the temple entrance. Bayek will run into some minor trouble, but he'll brush it off pretty easily. The good news is, the guy at the ruins knows about the weapon we're after and gives us a hint: bandits!

Now, Bayek's always up for taking down some bandits, especially if there's loot involved. The bandits, or more accurately, the spot where they stashed the treasure, is north and a bit west of that Serqet temple fast travel point. It's called the Dasos Hideout. Just follow the road heading north and west until you spot a pit with a hanged man above it. Inside the pit, you'll find two treasure chests – one red, one white – and a pack of hyenas guarding them. Honestly, they're not much of a threat if you just climb the tree next to the pit and shoot them down. Once they're dealt with, drop in, grab the chests. The red one counts towards clearing the Dasos Hideout objective, and the white one holds the 'Sword of Ptah', which is exactly what we're looking for.

Since we're already right here at the Dasos Hideout and have already completed half the objectives, it'd be a shame not to clear it out completely. To do that, find the passage heading north from where the chests were – it's opposite the pit. This will lead you out of a cave right near the bandit camp. There aren't any walls or alarm braziers to worry about here, just a level 19 captain and a bunch of level 18 bandits. There's also a ton of foliage, which is perfect for stealth. Just sneak around, use your whistle to lure them away one by one, and take them out. Once they're all dealt with, loot the camp for any other treasures you can find.
