Follow Bayek's journey in the 'Symposiasts' quest for Assassin's Creed Origins. Learn how to handle guards, celebrate with Phanos, and strike back against your enemies.
Alright, so after you wrap up the “Wrath of the Poets” quest, a new one called “Symposiasts” will kick off. You just need to wander a bit away from the odeon, and then head back. Phanos will be waiting for you. He’s pretty pleased with his latest play and wants to celebrate, and guess who’s invited? You are! So, go chat with Phanos.
He’ll then lead you to where the party’s at. Keep your eyes peeled on the way, because you’ll run into a patrol of guards (they’re level 20). Take care of them. Even though things are a bit tense with the authorities in Alexandria, Phanos isn’t letting it get him down. He’ll keep going to his place, which is basically a wild party house. Once you’re inside and talking to him, wouldn’t you know it, more guards show up. Looks like the first group wasn’t a one-off, and if you want to actually enjoy this celebration, you’ll have to deal with some more fighting.
Head back outside, and you’ll find a bunch of soldiers waiting for you (level 21), including a big brute. These guys are pretty manageable, but don’t get too comfortable, because more enemies are on their way, and that includes another brute. Once you’ve dealt with all of them, go back inside and have a word with Phanos. He’ll be tallying up his losses and bragging about how being a persecuted “blood poet” is actually good for his public image. You, being the sensible one, will probably tell him it’s time to fight back, and that’s going to take a little while.
