Follow our walkthrough to complete the Recon Work quest in Assassin's Creed Origins, including finding the agent and clearing the Roman camp.
Alright, so the next step in this part of the story is a mission called "Recon Work." Your main goal here is to head east, northeast, towards a search area. Once you get there, you'll want to use Senu, your eagle buddy, to pinpoint the exact location of a missing agent. Turns out, this agent was supposed to be investigating a Roman camp but got captured. It's not a huge camp, and there aren't too many soldiers hanging around, but you do need to be a bit careful.
The tricky part is the northern end of the camp. There's a trireme there with some troops on it, which can make things a little more complicated. Since there isn't much cover right by the trireme, your best bet might be to head to the water. Swim around to the north side of the trireme and take out those soldiers quietly. After that, there's a red chest on the eastern side of the trireme that you should definitely loot. Once you've dealt with the trireme, you can either use the mast as a vantage point to snipe the rest of the soldiers (they're around level 30-31) and the captain (level 32), or you can sneak into the camp and take them all out that way.
After you've cleared out the camp, make your way to the buildings right in the middle. This will trigger an investigation area. You'll need to examine a few things: some letters on a table, some really big armor, a pile of dead farmers, and finally, some prisoners tied up on the eastern side of the camp. Free all of them, and then have a chat with Iuseneb. Doing that will wrap up this quest.
