Hey there! So, you're looking to tackle 'The Last Bodyguard' quest in Assassin's Creed Origins? You'll find this one kicking off in the northwestern part of mainland Alexandria. If you're having trouble pinpointing it, think just south and east of the bridge leading to the island north of the city, or northwest of the Great Library. You'll meet a guy named Phidias who's got a bit of a peculiar request. Chat him up, and he'll ask for your help, even tossing you 75 Drachma upfront just to get you interested. Follow him, and he'll spill the beans (sort of) about your actual job: escorting his daughter, Kara, to the Egyptian District, which is basically the slums west of the Sarapeion. You might know the area already!

Sounds pretty straightforward, right? Just hop on the nearby boat and sail west. You'll need to find a river heading south, and then just cruise down that. But, uh oh, during your little boat trip, Kara decides she's got other plans than just a quiet day at home.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Sail to the quest objective marker. Once you dock, get off the boat and follow Kara south to find her horse.
  2. 2
After a bit of a chat, hop on the horse and ride to the markets. Kara wants to do some shopping, and these markets are located near the eastern edge of the city.
  3. 3
As you ride, Kara will be doing a lot of talking. When you finally arrive, you'll have to stick close to her as she browses until she finds the linens she's looking for.
  4. 4
But the excitement doesn't stop there! While you're picking up the linens she's eyeing, a sneaky thief will snatch her horse, Pegasus!
  5. 5
Naturally, getting the horse back falls to you. So, leave the market, call your own mount, and chase down the horse thief. You'll need to take them down – either by shooting them or striking them off Pegasus.
  6. 6
Once you've dealt with the thief, mount Pegasus and ride back to the market. You'll find Phidias has located his daughter, and thankfully, Kara covers for your little adventure.

Bayek's work was apparently good enough for both Phidias and Kara, as they even offer him a permanent job! Too bad he's only doing this for a short while, but hey, the payout is pretty decent.
