The achievements listed below are unlocked through participating in special events throughout the year.
Bug-Off!
The Nook Miles you’ll earn is dependent on how many Bug-Offs you’ve already competed in. Your first will earn you 300 miles, then 500 miles, then 1,000 miles and once you’ve participated in all Bug-Offs, you will earn 2,000 miles.

Fishing Tourney!
Like the Bug-Offs, the Nook Miles earned for these achievements are dependent on how many other seasonal tourneys you’ve already participated in. Your first will earn you 300 miles, then 500 miles, then 1,000 miles and once you’ve participated in all fishing tournaments, you will earn 2,000 miles.

Birthday Celebration
To unlock these achievements, you’ll need to attend your villagers’ birthday parties. You’ll know if a birthday is happening because Isabelle will announce it in an island-wide broadcast. Remember to bring a gift!

Wishes Come True
Every couple of weeks, there will be a shooting star event on your island! Isabelle will announce it in her island-wide broadcast, and you’ll also come across Celeste on your island. The shooting stars will go on all night so you’ll likely be able to get all of these achievements in one night if you’re patient! To wish on a star, look up the sky and press A (unequipped).
