Unlock Social Achievements in animal crossing new horizons by talking to villagers, building friendships, learning reactions, and more. Earn up to 3,000 Nook Miles per achievement.

This page provides information on the Nook Miles Achievements relating to social interactions with both your island villagers and other players in animal crossing new horizons.

Island Togetherness

These achievements are unlocked when you talk to all of the villagers on your island for a number of days. These miles should be unlocked quite easily as part of your daily tasks.

• Talk to all your villagers in one day: 300 Nook Miles, Unhindered Wallflower
• Talk to all your villagers for 10 days: 500 Nook Miles, Unabashedly Shy Kid
• Talk to all your villagers for 20 days: 1,000 Nook Miles, Respected One
• Talk to all your villagers for 30 days: 2,000 Nook Miles, Ludicrously Popular “It” Guy/Girl
• Talk to all your villagers for 50 days: 3,000 Nook Miles, Natural Heart Stealer

True Friends

A “good friendship” is when you reach Level 3 and Level 4 in the friendship levels.

• Have a “good relationship” with one villager: 300 Nook Miles, Soothing Pal
• Have a “good relationship” with two villagers: 500 Nook Miles, Friendly Buddy
• Have a “good relationship” with three villagers: 1,000 Nook Miles, Friendship Seeker

Reaction Ruler

Every so often, a villager will teach you new reactions. These achievements are unlocked the more reactions you learn.

• Learn 1 reaction: 300 Nook Miles, Overacting Neophyte
• Learn 10 reactions: 500 Nook Miles, Apprentice Dancer
• Learn 20 reactions: 1,000 Nook Miles, Dad-Joking Semiprofessional
• Learn 30 reactions: 2,000 Nook Miles, Solo Comedian
• Learn 42 reactions: 3,000 Nook Miles, Super-Popular Mega Star

Smile Isle

You will earn these achievements for performing good deeds for your islanders. Good deeds include giving sick villagers medicine, finding and returning lost items and completing tasks asked of you by villagers.

• Fulfill 1 request for a villager: 300 Nook Miles, Kindly Standard
• Fulfill 10 requests for villagers: 500 Nook Miles, Reliable Ally
• Fulfill 50 requests for villagers: 1,000 Nook Miles, Generous Supervisor
• Fulfill 100 requests for villagers: 2,000 Nook Miles, Exalted Savior
• Fulfill 300 requests for villagers: 3,000 Nook Miles, Foolhardy Hero/Heroine

Island and Yourland

These achievements are reliant on you visiting other players’ islands. You can visit your friends’ islands, or you can play with people you’ve found online.

• Visit another players’ island once: 300 Nook Miles, Traveling Person
• Visit another players’ island 5 times: 500 Nook Miles, Occasional Tourist
• Visit another players’ island 10 times: 1,000 Nook Miles, Global Wanderer

Host the Most

You can unlock these achievements by hosting other players on your island. These can be your friends or people met online in forums.

• Host 1 person on your island: 300 Nook Miles, Hospitable Friend
• Host 5 people on your island: 500 Nook Miles, Lonely Chum
• Host 10 people on your island: 1,000 Nook Miles, Well-Known Partier

Popular Pen Pal

You can buy letter paper from the airport, just to the right of Orville’s desk. You can write letters to your friends or villagers, and both will count towards earning these achievements.

• Send 5 letters: 300 Nook Miles, Art-School Boy/Girl
• Send 20 letters: 500 Nook Miles, Science-y Student
• Send 50 letters: 1,000 Nook Miles, Liberal-Arts Poet
• Send 100 letters: 2,000 Nook Miles, Subculture Denizen
• Send 200 letters: 3,000 Nook Miles, Deadline Writer

Overcoming Pitfalls

In previous games, Pitfalls were naturally spawning, but in this game, you’ll only fall into a pitfall if another player has planted a pitfall seed. Alternatively, you could bury and fall into your own pitfall if you want this achievement.
