These aren't your everyday spots; they're the ones the real completionists are hunting for. Kapp'n's boat tours are your ticket to finding them, but fair warning: it might take a few tries. You'll be listening to those sea shanties on repeat, so buckle up! Remember, you only get one trip a day with Kapp'n, so if you're really eager, you might need to get creative with time travel.

Let's dive into what makes these islands so cool:

• Glowing Moss Islands: These are pretty neat because they're covered in glowing moss and vines. You can use these for some special DIY recipes – there are about forty of them out there! To get the recipes themselves, keep an eye out for glass bottles washed up on the shore of these islands. If you've got the DLC, you'll also find moss growing on the hub island near the ruins.
• Star Fragment Islands: Yep, you can actually find islands where star fragments just… appear! Before, you were pretty much limited to meteor showers on your own island. Now, whenever you land on a Kapp'n island, make sure you smash all the rocks. It might take hitting every single one, but if you find a star fragment rock, it'll drop nine of them if you're in the right spot. Score!
• Bell Tree Islands: Who doesn't want more Bells? These islands have Bell trees already growing. While you can grow them on your own island, it takes three days for each tree. So, finding one of these is a super quick way to farm a ton of Bells without the wait.
• Snowflake Islands: This is a lifesaver if you're trying to craft all that cute Ice Furniture! Normally, you can only get snowflakes during winter (December-February in the Northern Hemisphere, June-August in the Southern). But Kapp'n can take you to islands in different seasons, meaning you can snag snowflakes whenever you want, no matter what time of year it is on your island.
• Cherry Blossom Islands: Similar to snowflakes, cherry blossoms are super time-sensitive on your own island (April 1-10th for Northern players, October 1-10th for Southern). This island lets you collect those pretty petals outside of that short window. It's perfect if you're still collecting DIYs and don't want to mess with time travel and your turnips.

Beyond these super rare ones, Kapp'n has a bunch of other islands for you to discover. You might find rare bugs and fish that Nook's Mystery Tours don't offer, or even grab those new crops from the update.
