[9-2] Countering the minimap advantage

Learn how to counter the minimap advantage in Total Annihilation using radar jammer units like the Eraser, Jammer, Spectre, and Deleter.

There are two primary methods to negate your opponent's advantage derived from the minimap (a small map display showing unit locations). The first is to directly engage and eliminate the enemy commander. The second method involves deploying specific units designed to counter radar capabilities.

For the ARM faction, these units are the Eraser and the Jammer. For the CORE faction, these units are the Spectre and the Deleter. These units create a jamming field that prevents your own troops within its range from appearing on the minimap (a small map display showing unit locations). Consequently, enemy units cannot target your forces unless they are within their direct line of sight.
