[10-3-2] 2. CORE Kbot Base, Destroy It!

Destroy the CORE Kbot Base in Total Annihilation. Learn to defend against CORE attacks and use the D-gun for a quick assault.

There are three paths across the water into the section of the map where you start. Placing two light laser towers at each of these paths is a good way to stop most of the CORE attacks (enemy attacks). However, you may need to attack some Storm kbots (mechanical units) as their missiles can hit the laser towers without needing to get into the lasers' firing range.

Build your defenses and build up your units for the assault on the CORE Kbot Base.

Alternately, for a quicker game, build one or two solar collectors (structures that generate energy). Take your commander south and use its D-gun (a powerful weapon) to destroy the Kbot Lab (a structure that builds mechanical units) as soon as you spot it. The AK's (enemy units) you'll encounter can either be destroyed with the D-gun or shot with the laser.
