The Skeeter is a scout craft that excels in several areas. It possesses a good range for spotting the enemy and is fast enough to outmaneuver enemy boats and outrun torpedoes. Its primary weapon is a missile launcher, making it highly effective at defending larger ships from enemy aircraft.

While scout craft like the Skeeter can become redundant for scouting once air scouts are available, they are very useful for anti-air defence for your seagoing craft. Although not as powerful as missile boats, Skeeters can be built in larger numbers more quickly and cheaply. This allows for more missiles to be launched, increasing the chance of hitting targets.
