This document is a level guide for Duke Nukem 3D. It summarizes some of the level features and some tips, and like other game strategy documents on namuwiki, it reflects personal or group research experience, so it may not be an absolute guide.

Official Levels

Episode 1: LA Meltdown

“Damn, those alien bastards will pay for shooting my steed.” - Beginning of Episode 1

This episode is included in the shareware version and features 5 basic levels and 1 hidden level. Players will navigate through Hollywood and a red light district before being captured by aliens. After escaping, Duke develops and destroys an alien base in a remote California location.

Hollywood Holocaust

This is the introductory level, set around a wide road resembling the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Upon starting, Duke takes damage from a crash but can immediately recover with a +30 health pickup. Players can find an RPG by shooting through windows on the right side of the street and a hidden chain gun behind a window on the left.
