Getting to the Yellow Key Slot

Locate the two entrances to the showers to the left and right of the Cell Block 01 and 02 sign.

In the showers, you will encounter two Troopers and a Captain. You can use the counters for (cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects)).

Search the showers for two Small Medikits, a Large Medikit, some Pistol Ammo, and Protective Boots.

To make the next part easier, eliminate some of the three Pig Cops located behind the forcefield of either cell block.

Note that (forcefields) in Duke Nukem 3D are not completely effective. You can use weapons with (splash damage) to harm enemies on the other side.

Use your RPG (Rocket Propelled Grenade launcher) and shoot at the ground near the Pig Cops for maximum (splash damage) effect to defeat them. This tactic might be considered exploiting the game, but the choice is yours.

Return to the control room.

Proceed through the middle exit, which is a Yellow Key Door.

Be prepared to kill a new Pig Cop waiting at the Yellow Key Door.
