Computer Room: Upon reaching a specific distance from the computers, a duck image appears on monitors, potentially hinting at an incoming Commander enemy that spawns behind the player.

Dark Corridor (Beside Computer Room): To the left of the Computer Room, a dark corridor contains a picture of a judge with the caption "J. Dredd" (a reference to Judge Dredd). A message "OPEN J. DREDD" is visible using the Goggles.

"Wanted" Posters: The "Wanted" posters on the walls, similar to those in the office before the Computer Room, depict members of the Duke 3D development team: Chuck Jones, Todd Repogle, Allen H. Blum, Dirk Jones, Dirty Harry (possibly), Brian Martel, and Keith Schuler. The main entrance poster features George Broussard and Stephen Hornback. Both posters include the message "Just say NO to drugs!".

Office Above Computer Room: A desk in the office above the Computer Room has a nameplate reading "H. Callahan" (Clint Eastwood's character in "Dirty Harry"). Approaching the desk triggers Duke's line, "Go ahead. Make my day!".

Level Start: At the beginning of the level, Duke says "I'll be Back.", a quote from "Terminator". The opening car crash and explosions also reference the movie's police station scene.

Photocopier: Standing on the photocopier reveals a picture of Duke's rear and his butt tattoo, which features a heart with an arrow and the name "LANI" (referencing voice actress Lani Minella).

"Diehard" Reference Desk: One desk features a picture of J. McLain, the character from the "Diehard" movie series. Approaching this desk makes Duke say, "Yippie Ki Yay Motherf**ker!" (censored in-game).

Judge's Desk Area: Near the Judge's desk, a picture of the Unabomber, Theodore Kaczynski, is present.

Judge's Stand Symbol: The symbol on the front of the Judge's Stand, intended to represent the US legal system with "E pluribus unum", is altered to say "E pluribus Nukem" (meaning "From many, Duke").

Courtroom Witness Stand: On the witness stand in the courtroom, Duke says, "So help me Duke", a variation of "So help me God".

Secret Level Exit Desk: Another desk near the exit to the secret level is labeled "J. Dredd".

Secret Level Entrance: The jurors hanging from the roof at the secret level entrance are a pun on a "hung jury".

Blue Key Area: The picture near the blue key is not a standard historical figure but is believed to be of game developer George Broussard.

Yellow Key Room Sofa: The wooden arms of the sofa in the yellow key room are inscribed with "FISH" and "B MILLER", referencing the TV shows "Fish" and "Barney Miller".
