Walkthrough

Open the map (the one with textures on it).

Notice the large purple stream that veers off into a small curvy path.

Face the direction on the map that has the curvy path on the top.

Move diagonally up and right.

While moving on the map, look for a small rectangular room.

Inside this room, you will find two messages: one on the floor and ceiling, and one on the wall.

The message on the wall says "TAG IS COOL", referring to DukeTag, a multiplayer method introduced in the Atomic Edition.

The message on the ceiling says "RSP II DUVAL MAGIC", which refers to Randall S. Pitchford II, nicknamed Duval Magic, a developer who worked on the Atomic Edition levels.

The text on the ceiling is not sprites so it can be seen from the map screen if you zoom in a lot.

Tips

The room at the very beginning of the level is the same room viewed in the introduction movie (cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically)) at the start of Duke Nukem 3D, featuring an operating table.
