Complete the Hole in the Sky mission in cyberpunk 2077. Guide covers reaching the crash site, crane, wreckage, finding Rosalind Myers, and defeating attackers.
Walkthrough
- 1Begin on the streets of Dogtown. Songbird will contact you about the President being in a safe room on the plane before she ejected.
- 2After choosing a dialogue response (which has no impact), Songbird explains the plan is to extract the President and head to an apartment on Kress Street. You can explore the area without consequence.
- 3Follow the road west/southwest until you reach the objective, approximately 70M away.
- 4When about 60-70M from the objective, enter the building on your right from the back to avoid street enemies. This area is hostile.
- 5Follow the path around the corner, being cautious of an enemy. Stealthily take them out by creeping and hugging the right wall, then grab and throw them in a dumpster.
- 6Continue following the path and go over the makeshift bridge, watching for other guards, including one in another building who can spot you. Stay low and use the environment.
- 7At the end of the path, Songbird will instruct you to scale the scaffolding to your right (not the one on the left).
- 8Behind the building, climb up and head left. Drop to the floor below, pick up loot to your right, and go up the stairs to your left.
- 9The area becomes hostile as you approach the stairs. Make your way to the top, climb a stack of pallets to reach a building ledge, and head up the small stairs to your right.
- 10Jump up, grab the grate hanging from the crane, and follow it to the end where you'll find another set of stairs. Climb the ladder. Songbird will speak to you; your dialogue choice has no impact. She will then tell you to hop onto the Crane Arm.
- 11Go up the ladder to your right, walk halfway up, and drop through the hole to the floor below.
- 12Prepare for a large battle with many enemies. Use nearby pillars and walls for cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects). Be aware of flanking enemies and grenades.
- 13Consider using a Sniper for headshots, a Shotgun for flankers, and grenades. Quickhacks like Weapon Glitch, Overheat, or Synapse Burnout are also effective.
- 14After defeating the enemies, head forward and drop into the crater.
- 15Defeat more enemies at the end of the path, using nearby pillars and walls for cover.
- 16Continue forward and find enemies fighting the President’s robots. Use this distraction for some free kills before engaging the rest.
- 17Keep moving forward, use available cover, and defeat the remaining enemies. Head under the broken pillar into the next area.
- 18More enemies are present. If you are sneaky, you can take some out with stealth. Head right, take out the guards, and enter the building.
- 19Around the corner, two more enemies will appear. Try to sneak past them, but if spotted, shoot them.
- 20Once they are dealt with, dash to the plane to find the President, Rosalind Myers.
- 21Head to the opposite end of the plane, picking up loot along the way, and interact with the door for a short cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically).
- 22You can punch Rosalind Myers; it has no impact. You will then have five seconds to identify yourself. Select any option, and she will apologize.
- 23Defend Rosalind Myers against incoming enemies.
Tips
- When approaching the crash site, you can run through the area unhindered as long as you don't enter hostile zones.
- The dialogue choices you make during the mission have no impact on the outcome.
- For the large battle in the wreckage, using a Sniper for headshots, a Shotgun for flankers, and grenades is recommended. Quickhacks like Weapon Glitch, Overheat, or Synapse Burnout are also effective.
- Use the environment, including pillars and walls, for cover during combat.
