Alright, V, so you've finished the race in the Badlands, and now Claire Russell's gonna hit you up. She's got the location for the next qualifying race, this time in Santo Domingo. Head over to Brandon and Wollesen streets in Arroyo. When you get there, give Claire a call. She'll ask if you're using your ride or her souped-up Thorton Mackinaw "Beast." After that, just chill on a nearby bench and wait for Claire and the other racers to show up. This time, you'll be up against teams from the Tyger Claws, The Mox, 6th Street, and the Valentinos. Even Jakub Antonowicz and Margot Wojciechowicz from the Aldecaldos are back! When you get to Claire by the car, she'll want to check the engine with you. After that, you'll both hop in and get ready to race. If you and Claire win: You'll snag 3,860 eurodollars, which is a solid step towards qualifying for the final race. After crossing the finish line, Claire will want to pull over at a nearby overlook to chat. She'll open up about her husband, Dean Russell, who died in last year's championship. Apparently, Peter Sampson, a Militech corp, deliberately slammed on his brakes, causing Dean to crash and die. Claire's real reason for doing these races? She wants to take Peter out in the championship. She'll ask if you'll help her get revenge. * If you agree to help Claire: You'll both head to the final race in Westbrook. A day later, Claire will text you. * If your priority is winning: You'll tell Claire you just want to compete. She'll understand, and you'll both go to the final race. A day later, Claire will text you. * If you refuse to help Claire: She'll say she'll find someone else and won't show up at the Afterlife anymore. This will complete the quest in your journal, but the main quest, The Beast In Me, will fail. Journal Entry: _"Ah, Santo Domingo! The eternal fountain of shit where the only sure thing was you'd eventually step on the toes of some hot-blooded jarhead with '6th Street' tattooed on his ass. You win this race, V, you show them who's in charge around here. Notes: * You might overhear some 6th Street racers talking about Dean Russell owing money. * To get the best ending in the next quest, you'll need to choose the dialogue options "You sure it was murder?" and "My priority's winning." Also, when Claire texts you after the race, make sure to reply with "Don't worry about it. Just remember what you promised me."
