Guide to Cyberpunk 2077's 'For Whom the Bell Tolls' mission. Learn how to get iconic gear like Prejudice and Retrothrusters, and progress through this critical Act 3 mission.
Alright, so you've made it to the end of Act 3, and you're about to tackle 'For Whom the Bell Tolls'. This mission kicks off right after you make a crucial decision in 'Nocturne Op55N1'. To even get here, you had to have completed the side job 'Blistering Love' first. Then, during 'Nocturne Op55N1', when that big choice comes up, you need to pick the option: _”Think you and Rogue should go.”_ followed by _”I am. Do your thing, Johnny.”_ This basically means you're handing over the reins to Johnny Silverhand, hoping he can pull off what he couldn't fifty years ago.
- 1You'll start outside the Afterlife. Head on inside and find Rogue. Say whatever you feel like – Johnny's got a way of making sure Rogue agrees to the plan.
- 2After a time skip and a bit of a jarring wake-up call, follow Weyland. You'll then have a chat with Rogue, and it's time to gear up. Rogue will have some weapons laid out for you. Make sure you grab the iconic assault rifle called Prejudice, a legendary Tactician (which is a type of SMG), and the Retrothruster boots. These boots are pretty wild – they're supposed to let you jump from any height without taking damage, so you'll definitely want to test those out!
- 3Once you've snagged all the loot, Rogue will give you a shard with the plan. Listen to her, then head into the back room to find Nix. Follow his instructions carefully.
- 4After dealing with Nix, you'll find yourself in cyberspace. Talk to Alt Cunningham – pick any dialogue options you like, it won't change the outcome here.
- 5When you're back in reality, find Rogue again and follow her to the AV.
Tips:
- Don't forget to grab all the gear Rogue offers. The Prejudice assault rifle is a solid choice, and the Retrothrusters are essential for navigating some later areas without taking fall damage.
- The dialogue choices with Alt in cyberspace are mostly for flavor, so don't stress too much about picking the
