The Beast in Me: Badlands

After completing The Beast in Me: City Center, wait one day for Claire to text you. Skipping time 24 hours may be required, but doing another activity is recommended if the text doesn't arrive.

Read and reply to Claire's text, then travel to the marked location on the map.

Call Claire upon arrival and sit on a nearby bench to trigger the race's loading sequence.

After the timeskip, speak with Claire, take the shard she gives you, and enter the Beast (your vehicle for this race).

Wait for the race to begin. This race features off-road driving through difficult terrain like narrow ravines and muddy ground.

Alternate between accelerating and idling to maintain speed and control. Accelerate for short bursts on clear, straight paths and let off to navigate upcoming obstacles.

Follow the guide arrows carefully, as the race will sometimes lead you onto roads only to veer off into the badlands. Do not drive too fast.

Navigate through watery ravines and a dust storm, which obscures the scenery and helps you focus on the guide arrows.

The final stretch is at the solar power plant, featuring tight turns and solar arrays as obstacles. Be careful not to hit them.

Upon finishing the race, Claire will offer a ride back to the garage. You can accept or decline.

Exit the vehicle at the garage to complete the quest.

Wait for a follow-up text from Claire to begin the next job in the questline, The Beast in Me: Santo Domingo.
