Your guide to Route 126 in Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. Discover trainers, hidden items like Pearl and Green Shard, and the Secret Islet.
Alright, after Steven heads off, it's time for us to catch up! We'll be heading north onto Route 127, and then west into Route 126. This is a big underwater area, so get ready to do some diving!
Walkthrough
- 1First things first, head northwest a bit in this new route. You'll run into Triathlete Denzel. Take him on!
- 2After Denzel, head southwest to find Swimmer Barry. He's up next.
- 3Keep going counterclockwise around the big white rock (that's Sootopolis City's crater, by the way) and you'll find another Swimmer, this one named Dean.
- 4Now, head east from Dean to challenge Ace Trainer Leopold.
- 5After Leopold, go northwest to find one more Swimmer, Brenda.
- 6While you're exploring, don't forget about the trainers hiding underwater! If you head to the southwest side of the outer Sootopolis area, you'll see a square patch of seaweed. Face the southeast tile of the empty center and press A – you'll find a hidden Pearl!
- 7Keep an eye out for surfacing spots. If you head northwest of Scuba Diver Tristan (he's along the north side), you'll find a patch of light to surface at. Once you're above water, head northeast to a Dive spot. Dive down there, and you'll eventually reach another beachy area where you can find a Green Shard.
- 8There's another surfacing spot west of the main underwater part of Route 126. Surface there, and you'll find another Swimmer to battle.
- 9Now, head southwest of the main Sootopolis crater. You'll find a Dive spot. Go southwest from there and surface. You've found the Secret Islet, a perfect spot to make your Secret Base!
- 10Once you're done exploring, head to the southern part of the crater. Use Dive and enter the cave. Surface when you're inside the cave to continue your journey.
Tips
- The wild Pokémon here are the same as in the previous routes, so no new surprises there!
- Keep an eye on your Pokémon's health, especially if you're doing a lot of diving and battling. Stock up on Potions and Full Heals if you need to.
- Route 126 is a great place to train up your Pokémon, especially if you have Pokémon that can use Surf and Dive effectively.
