Explore Route 119 in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Discover Pokémon encounters, trainer battles, items like Max Repel and PP Max, and tips for finding Feebas.
Walkthrough
- 1Start at the easternmost portion of Route 119 and battle the Bug Maniac.
- 2To the southwest and northwest, you'll find more Bug Catchers. Pick up the Max Repel.
- 3Turn on the Dowsing Machine, head northeast, and find the Full Heal.
- 4Continue battling Trainers along the northern fringes of the tall grass.
- 5On the west side of the dirt path, battle the Pokémon Ranger.
- 6In the house west of the Ranger, speak to the brown-haired woman to heal your party.
- 7To the west of these areas, you can use Surf and Fish.
- 8Head to the northwestern shore and battle the Fisherman.
- 9North of the Fisherman, in the tall grass, go to the non-grassy horizontal row north of it and find a Zinc at the end.
- 10Return to the other side of the river and go north along the dirt path up a level.
- 11Go northward through the tall grass to find two sets of Hondew Berries.
- 12Partway through the tall grass, you'll notice a narrow bridge. Use the Acro Bike to ride along it, hop across ledges, and continue across (Up+B simultaneously, then hold Up).
- 13On the other side, go west and north, and use the Dowsing Machine to locate a Calcium at the end of the path. Return to the other side.
- 14Go south from the earlier tall grass, then north onto the rocky ledge.
- 15Just before the bridge, battle the couple (Brains and Brawn Jael and Kael).
- 16Cross the bridge and go north upstairs.
- 17Past the first tuft of tall grass, go northwest and battle the Pokémon Ranger Jackson.
- 18Grab the PP Max further ahead. (A PP Max boosts a move's maximum PP to 160% of the norm).
- 19Near the back of the rocky ledge, go east and pick up an Elixir.
- 20Battle the Ninja Boy Takashi nearby (you must talk to him to engage).
- 21Go back west and get on the rocky ledge to fight Bird Keeper Phil.
- 22Go up another ledge and west to find Bird Keeper Hugh.
- 23Head north from there to find the Weather Institute.
Tips
- Feebas is a rare encounter (5% in tall grass with Old Rod) and was notoriously difficult to find in the original games. Patience is required.
- Rain is not ideal for Fire-type Pokémon on this Route.
- You can ride your bike in the tall grass, but it can be difficult to see and navigate.
- The Dowsing Machine is useful for finding hidden items.
- To use the Acro Bike to cross the narrow bridge: press Up+B simultaneously, begin hopping, then hold Up.
- A PP Max is a valuable item that significantly boosts a move's PP. It's most efficient on moves that haven't had PP Ups used on them yet.
- Team Aqua/Magma are present in the Weather Institute.
